MIDLIFE CRISIS-19, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 - The Delta, and the State of Minds.
The state of minds within the human condition has slipped into a delta, somewhere below commonsense and consciousness, and some lesser stage in the evolutionary process. Also burned up in the current heatwave, individual autonomy, the will to preserve one's own freedom, and life. As a society we have become dangerously submissive, while surrendering to the State Monolith, in this case the pagan god of corporatism, Delta Air Lines.
The problem is not that Delta did not ask passengers to "disembark back into the airport" after being on the plane for four (4) hours, it's that passengers mindlessly waited on the plane under near-death conditions for four hours until being told what to do (1.).
"After four hours on the plane, stretchers were brought onboard as passengers were asked to disembark back into the airport, Garvin said" (1.).

Note to Self: Presented with a fallacy, passengers chose death over delay, what Attorneys might call an out for Delta.
"According to [FOX News field producer Krista Garvin, who was aboard the flight], the airline said passengers could deboard the plane, but it could possibly take days to get another flight to Atlanta" (1.).
