MIDLIFE [NARRATIVE]-19, Tuesday, February 27, 2024 – Democrats, Running on Abortion; While the Border Wins in November.
More than, “MAGA extremism,” it appears that Democrats are leaning hard on the abortion narrative nationally, in the lead-up to the 2024 Presidential Election. I think that the border narrative – dead Americans – is a strong narrative, even stronger than abortion. Now, there is no pun-intended in that abortion and dead Americans are synonymous, but it would have been too easy.
Regarding the humanitarian crisis at the U.S. southern border, Democrats cannot win.
Whether it be with statistics, images, video footage, interviews, and or testimony, Conservatives need to go all-in on the border – dead Americans needs to lead the narrative.

The article is almost hard to read, because from the beginning, “sanctuary cities” was a virtue-signaling narrative that on paper, was not capable of playing out well in reality.
“Sanctuary city policies adopted under former mayors Ed Koch and Michael Bloomberg in part allowed police to hold those arrested and charged for longer so U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement could lodge a detainer on them.
“But current rules, adopted under Adams’ immediate predecessor Bill de Blasio, effectively buffer people from federal scrutiny until they are convicted of major crimes.

“Laws from 2014 and 2017 ‘essentially place strong limitations on the city’s ability to cooperate or to provide even just notification to federal authorities,’ [Mayor Adams’ chief counsel Lisa Zornberg] said.
“Recent high-profile incidents involving migrants from the southern border included the January attack on the officers in Times Square and the shooting of a tourist in a Times Square store” (1.).
Well, Democrats did not really want “sanctuary cities,” they wanted the narrative.
