MIDLIFE CRISIS-19, Tuesday, December 02, 2025 – Enter, the ‘Deep State,’ On Display, Like an Apparition.
Roll Call:
- Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), former CIA officer, and intelligence analyst.
- Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), former Naval officer.
- Representative Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Attorney, and former Navy officer.
- Congresswoman Maggie Goolander (D-NH), lawyer, former Naval intelligence officer, and the wife of Biden’s former U.S. national security advisor, Jake Sullivan.
- Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), former Air Force officer, and worked as a project manager on air and space defense technologies.
- Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO), lawyer, former Army officer, Army Ranger, and paratrooper.
Now, correct me if I am wrong, but that would be a glimpse into the infamous “Deep State:” elected officials from both chambers of Congress, an Attorney, lawyers, a former CIA officer, former military officers, including former members of the intelligence, and special forces, communities.
Like ghosts, these are the subversives who walk among our ranks, and are currently appearing in the news after telling our military to, “refuse illegal orders” (1.).
But that is merely the propaganda narrative, after the fact.

There they are, right out in the open, and not only do they not try to hide it, but they use fallacy, the appeal to their own authority, in an attempt to mask their subversion. You see, they did not simply say to, “refuse illegal orders, nor did they simply say, “You can refuse illegal orders,” nor did the simply say, “You must refuse illegal orders” (1.).
Read their words in context, as their subversion is directive, it is combative, and it is specifically directed at the current Administration, the sitting U.S. President, our Commander in Chief, as they call them a “threat” (1.).

Note to Self: Their punctuation – period placement – is lousy.
Firstly, they bypass the entire chain of command using performance art, having created a scripted public service announcement (PSA), which they delivered with the assistance of a teleprompter on social media.
“We want to speak directly to the members of the military. And the intelligence community. Who take risks each day to keep Americans safe” (1.).
Secondly, they assert, without the benefit, and right, of due process – albeit through word-craft – that there has been some unlawful act, or acts, that are taking place and causing, “enormous stress and pressure,” on members of the military, and intelligence community.
“We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now” (1.).
Thirdly, they go all in.
“Americans trust their military, but that trust is at risk. This Administration is pitting our uniformed military, and intelligence community professionals, against American citizens. Like us, you all swore an oath, to protect and defend our Constitution. Right now, the threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law, or our Constitution. We know this is hard. And that it is a difficult time to become a public servant. But whether you’re serving in the CIA. The Army. Our Navy. The Air Force. Your vigilance is critical. And know that we have your back. Because now, more than ever. The American people need you. We need you to stand up for our laws. Our Constitution. And who we are as Americans. Don’t give up. Don’t give up. Don’t give up the ship.” (1.).

Note: sedition, “: incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority” (2.).
They stated that, “the threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home.” That is present tense language, so, in context, their words are patently false, because that cohort of elected individuals are not blanket arbiters of the law, they are not part of any special committee, nor do they hold any relevant appointment in American jurisprudence over the President. They are merely acting – literally – in the Court of Public Opinion. The implication is that this Administration, the President, is breaking the law, and that subordinates of this Administration must not comply. So, telling members of the military, and intelligence community, that they, “must refuse illegal orders,” after having just told them that this Administration is effectively the enemy, the threat, is blatantly seditious. To what orders are they referring? What Court has ruled on said orders? Where is the presumption of innocence?
It is crafty by omission, but it is all there.
Democrats were not simply offering a reminder, they were asserting that they themselves are the State, and they positioned themselves in direct opposition to a duly elected President, and his Administration.

In response to the Deep State – the unelected bureaucracy who have assumed power beyond the people, and over those whom the people elected – the President responded in kind.
“’It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand - We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET,’ he wrote in one post.
“In an additional post, he added, ‘This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP???’
“The president then posted again about the matter, and simply wrote, ‘SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!’” (3.).
I agree.
But wait, there is more.

Their response? They are theatrically doubling down, and conveniently without the context.
Senator Kelly specifically? He is on the victim tour, all virtue, wallowing in self-importance.
Just yesterday, Kelly sent out an email groveling for donations to raise money for his defense.
That is in typical Democrat fashion, run amuck, then claim the victim after they get dragged for their deeds.
