A couple of notable items:
"The suspected gunman in the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump did not fire his gun or have the former president in his line of sight, federal officials said Monday in an update of the ongoing investigation" (1.).
That should be, the gunman, "did not fire his gun or have the former president in his line of sight [yet]", right?

"Trump now 'has the highest levels of protection' the Secret Service can provide, officials said" (1.).
This post-second-assassination-attempt decision is as if the one (1) dead American, three (3) wounded Americans, including the former President, and one (1) dead would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crook, from the first assassination attempt in July, were not enough to warrant, "the highest levels of protection" (1.).

"Officials later said a Secret Service agent spotted a gun poking out of a fence at the golf club on a hole ahead of Trump and fired at the gunman, who was hiding in the shrubbery" (1.).
"'Even so, [Ronald Rowe Jr., the Secret Service’s acting director] said, the Secret Service had in place the 'highest levels of protection” as directed by Biden, including 'counter sniper team elements' and 'local tactical assets'" (2.).
Call it what is, they missed. Only second to, "a [firing] gun poking out of a fence," there is no greater threat. Why did they not light up the shrubbery like a Christmas tree with suppressive fire? It is suspect that the would-be assassin got away, 45-minutes away (1.), and without a scratch.

"Officials said Monday Routh was the subject of a previously closed tip to the FBI in 2019 alleging he illegally had a firearm as a felon. The Associated Press reported the person who tipped the FBI could not verify the information, which was passed to local law enforcement in Hawaii" (1.).
We often learn after a mass-casualty event, and after threats of violence - after the fact - that the FBI had some type of prior knowledge, yet events like this still continue to happen.
For whatever reason - if only as a result of repeated gross negligence - that makes the FBI effectively suspect. Fact.

"He also tried to recruit fighters for Ukraine to defend itself against Russia, and he had a website seeking to raise money and recruit volunteers to fight for Kyiv.
"Voter records show he registered as an unaffiliated voter in North Carolina in 2012, most recently voting in person during the state’s Democratic primary in March.
"Routh also made 19 small donations totaling $140 since 2019 to ActBlue, a political action committee that supports Democratic candidates, according to federal campaign finance records" (2.).
Let us be clear, Ryan Wesley Routh, was not a "Republican," nor a “Conservative,” he was another proverbial useful idiot singing the same hateful Democrat Party, and RINO, tropes and rhetoric, as the rest of them.
