MIDLIFE CRISIS-19, Saturday, April 26, 2025 - Space, and Enemies of [American] Freedom.
The U.S. and Russia have been working together in space for the past fifty (50) years, and since 1998 on the International Space Station (ISS), including U.S. astronauts living and training in Russia, “and vice versa” (1.).
“[T]he tensions between the U.S. and Russia don’t really affect the ISS. NASA astronauts are continuing to train in Russia, and vice versa; there have been no issues with visas or travel for either side” (1.).
A lot of people, pundits, read our relationship - or pretend to read it - incorrectly. The U.S. is uniquely aligned with Russia, but we are in jeopardy of losing that space relationship to China; freedom stands to lose to tyranny. It is here where there is growing appeal for a re-merging "Socialism," repackaged globally as "Progressivism," but ultimately cloaked tyranny.
There are two (2) primary buckets:
1.) The "war in Ukraine" is a product of corrupt elements of the U.S. government, corrupt oligarchs from both Ukraine and Russia, and China, all working in Russia's expansion efforts West to gain port accesses, which reestablishes historic Silk Road trade routes. More broadly, this supports China's growing alliance with Russia, and specifically, China's Brick and Road Initiative (BRI), which aims to consolidate Eurasian trade in an effort to unseat the U.S. as the world's super power.
This ruse with "Zelenskyy" is really about that forming Eurasian global alliance, against American freedom, sovereignty, and world posture. Ukraine is the global flash point revealing that Europe is turning from America, emboldened by the extending hand of China, laying in waiting to control ... cough, cough ... I mean, cradle their trading, and economic, needs.
2.) Space is the future - full stop. He who controls space, controls the future, because he who controls information ("data"), controls the future. Information is the fuel of AI, while 5G (and all replacement technologies), are connected in space, along with land-based data storage and processing facilities. Whether it be trade during peace, or war, or militarily during influence, or war, space is as much of geopolitical significance as any piece of land on Earth, probably more.
Donald J. Trump gets it, but there are a lot of sleepers – with millions ignorant, proverbially asleep – those who have long since sold-out the United States by design or default, and are ultimately aligned with China, or somewhere in between, all enemies of American freedom.
Am I wrong? Could be, but I doubt it; read the global room. America is the bastion of American freedom, the global seat of individual freedom, yet the perceived comfort and security of a Monolith, and global, Nanny State satisfies many.
